The ACT Cricket Association began in 1922 as the Federal Territory Cricket Association and changed to the Federal Capital Territory Cricket Association in 1928. It wasn?t until 1940 that we became the Australian Capital Territory Cricket Association (ACTCA).

Indoor cricket is a dynamic form of cricket played inside an enclosed, netted arena. With a long and storied history, the sport in Canberra and the surrounding region is active, and well developed, with thousands of people participating at all ages and skill levels each week.
Indoor Cricket A.C.T. is the peak body for indoor cricket in the region. Working with Cricket ACT and Cricket Australia, ICACT aims to provide for the development and enhancement of the sport, and all of its participants and officials.

Football in Australia is governed at the highest level by Football Federation Australia (FFA).? Registered as Capital Football, the A.C.T. Football Federation is the Member Federation governing body for the A.C.T. and surrounding region, one of nine governing bodies under their auspices.
