Banning of Pornography

Lately in Europe Iceland put forward a ban on Pornography and sadly this seems to set a horrific precedent as evidenced by UK now voting on it. The whole thing is pro-censorship and is merely a way to distract imo from bigger issues. Not to mention in likes of Japan it's been proven that with such open attitudes to erotica or pornography there is reduced rape. So, you then have to ask about their reasoning, they claim to stop the demeaning of woman, yet what of gay pornography, animated or any variation, who is that demeaning?

This whole ban suggests puritan attitudes we should keep out of the UK and anywhere else in Europe.

The whole thing seems more like a means to begin censorship of the internet, than a way to stop the demeaning of woman, as claiming all porn demeans woman ignores so much, so much.
