Names of school shooting victims released

Sandy Hook Elementary principal Dawn Hochsprung died in the attack after reportedly running toward the gunfire to protect her students. TODAY's Erica Hill reports, and Savannah Guthrie talks with two men who knew her.

Authorities on Saturday released the names and ages of those killed Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

All died by gunshot wounds.?Of the 20 slain children, eight were boys and 12 were girls. All the children were ages 6 or 7. All six adults killed were women.

Most of the 20 children and six adults were killed in one section of the school that has two classrooms, police had stated earlier.
